2008 GNYADA Contest page
This page is for up to date information on the New York Competition.
We have two students going to the GNYADA (Greater New York Automotive Dealer Association) Auto Show. Jeff and M (yes his name is only one letter) will be leaving to compete. During the week of the event, please visit the podcast page to see the video of days events and comments from us. This page is always being changed so please look as often as you like. Today's Events:
Jeff's flight was canceled and he was routed on a different flight to the windy city of Chicago before arriving at the Big Apple. Mr. C got the short straw and waited for his arrival.
Seven hours later Jeff and Mr. C make it to the Auto Competition.
Day two was extremely entertaining. You need to see the Podcast video for that day. We had a lot to do.
On day three, they did their hands on competition. Mr. C also competed in the Instructors Challenged. We are hoping that Mr. C got 37th place. Which is second to last place. The instructors contest is rigged where we cannot hope to win, but see who gets last place in this contest. The judges love to hide our parts, or in my case, they relabeled the part numbers so we had a hard time figuring out what were the new made up part numbers.
At the end, we did not place in the top ten. At the writing of this blog, we do not know what the students placed. Over all we had a great time. Please view all the pics and videos from this site. If you are on of my students, then maybe next year it will be you.
