2008 SkillsUSA

 This year in SkillsUSA we had no senoirs make it past Waco. We did have the following place in Waco:

Paul- 1st Outdoor Power and Equipment

Alex-2nd Aviation

Jason-2nd Motorcycle

Jeremy-1st Motorcycle, 3rd Opening and Closing

Ben-3rd Diesel

Shaun-5th Related Math

Juan A.-1st Diesel

M-2nd Diesel

Jesse-3rd Opening and Closing

Dustin-3rd Opening and Closing

After the Waco trip, the first place (2nd in Aviation as well) went to Corpus Christi. After bright neon yellow shirts and sunburns, we competed. The students were excited to be there and they were expecting to do excellent. At the end Paul placed first in Outdoor Power and Equipment.

At State level SkillsUSA at Corpus Christi, we had great overall sucess. With Construction Tech and Media Tech going to nationals in Kansas City. We also placed 1st with Paul in Outdoor Power and Equipment. Coming soon is the Podcast for all of SkillsUSA for Autotech.
